Our school is part of the FarNet Video Conferencing cluster. Through this we can access many senior courses offered by tertiary or secondary providers which otherwise may be unavailable for students. Increasingly courses are able to be accessed in an on-line environment with tutors being available in webinar type formats (video internet link). 

Currently (2011) we have 2 students accessing Year 12 Equine studies through Telford polytechnic in Otago, 3 students accessing Year 12 Te Reo Maori through Northland College etc. Video Conferencing courses are based on a 1h/week session in front of the Video Conference facility and then 3 further periods learning in an on-line environment using the Moodle ultranet.
