Gateway

The school receives funding to assist students from school into the workplace from Years 11-13. This includes students completing various units on how to cope in the workplace, employment contracts, how to write a CV etc (all accredited on the NZQA). Students are able to be placed in the workforce in worksite placements at local businesses of their choice.

Through this programme our students have been placed in a number of business and work places in Kaitaia and the surrounding areas and some students have gone on to receive employment from this.

STAR - Secondary Tertiary Alignment Resource

The school receives funding to enable our Year 11-13 students to access courses through independent providers. There is a large number of courses available, all of which are accredited on the NQF.
